View of the campground, our is the only one that was not white in color in the front row. |
What a beautiful day today, sun came out early. Today we road for about 4 hours. Sights that we saw were: Table Rock Lake and the Dam, Table Rock State Park. It is really amazing how big the lake actually is. It just seems to go and go. Branson is all hills so it makes life sort of crazy when you have to stop at a light. The state park would be a terrific place to spend time camping, lots of trails to hike etc. Thoughts are to return back here to spend more time.

Water Fountain - Branson Landing |
Went back to the landing again tonight to see the water fountain show again. Same show but we really enjoy it, Dubbie however does not like it. He was actually pulling us to return to the motorhome. We think that we have really worn him out. We got back to the motorhome and he laid down in his bed and did not move until we got ready to go to bed.

Traveling south on Hwy 65 |
We are continuing to head south on Hwy 65 again today. The view we saw traveling down the road is really beautiful. Dubbie must still be tired and worn out, all he wants to do is lay in either Liz's lap or hog her chair.

Two lane on Hwy 65 traveling south thru Arkansas |
Liz has decided that she really does not like this highway, really narrow, up and down, curves to the right and the left, four lanes back down to two lanes. If ma Mort were sitting in the navigation chair she would be saying " Hold her down girl" and going around the curves she would be saying "Easy girl easy girl". Now Liz however says nothing but just moves her arms and makes noises which is very frustrating. Really hard to read her mind when she says nothing.
Today we managed to travel thru the state of Arkansas. Winds were out of the north about 30 miles per hour. We are really glad to be off the road for the day. We stopped after about 6 hours and are resting comfortably at the KOA campground in Texarkana Texas. Our site was not very level for those of us with short legs.
