We were blessed with friends from home. Lori and Diane came to visit. Weather was sunny and warm. We really enjoyed their visit. We spent a few hours at the Mesa Mart (known to us as the flea market/swap meet), headed up to Tortilla Flats, spent time with Karol's folk's, did some site seeing, and they enjoyed time laying by the pool.

The following weekend Bev and Keri visited. We went to the Olive Mill. What an interesting place, learned about olive oil and olives. Liz really likes black olives but after inquiring about how black olives are made, she will be hard pressed to eat them. Black olives are made by soaking green olives in lye for a day. Really makes a person rethink eating black olives. We went hiking and spent time at the Mesa Mart also.
