View of the Superstition Mountains - we see this every day and night |

Sunset view of the many that we see |
We have been in our park for a little over a week. We have settled into retirement mode. We are taking life slower than when we were traveling here where we were busy everyday. Okay, it is starting to feel like we are retired. Nothing like going to the laundromat to slow life down. Guess we are really spoiled when we are at home, start a load do something else, move load to dryer and start another load. We are sure you know the routine.

Liz heading off to do laundry |
We have met all of our neighbors. Now hopefully we will remember their names. We have started a chart, name and lot number. As we walk around the park many of the people are from MN and the Midwest area. Dubbie is settling in, he is meeting all of the dogs that are coming by to greet him. Hopefully this will be a good thing since he really does not like/care for other dogs.
We both agree that we made a good decision on this park. Lots are big, every night there is a beautiful sunset and we see the Superstition Mountains also. There are so many options on things that a person can do, a person could be busy everyday from sun up till sun down.

Hopefully we will become better at our putting and pitching game |
Park coffee is every Monday. Everyone brings their coffee cup, enjoy coffee and doughnuts. Sat with some folks from MN that we had met, they have motorcycles with plans to connect with them and go riding. After park coffee we walked around trying to figure our way around the park commons area. Stopped by the carving shop and immediately the guys started picking on us. Liz went up Tuesday to give it a try. She is trying to find a hobby that she might like. So far she likes carving but it is hard on the wrist. She might be trying to hard or the knives that she is borrowing are not the sharpest.

Hummingbird - we placed a feeder right on our window |
We joined the hiking group. They hike Wednesday's and Friday's. We went out on Wednesday along with 30 others. What a great hike and group. We hiked what is called "Hackberry Springs Garden Loop - approximately 5.5 miles. Here are a few pictures from our hike. There is so much to see everything is beautiful.
We have decided that we will only post when we have gone off and done something that might interest you. Thank you to those that have followed us in our travels. We are going on a motorcycle ride with Karol's folks on Saturday so will post more after that.
