Well low and behold Karol had a surprise retirement party for me on Oct. 16th and it was also a real shocker to her because I had a surprise retirement party for her on the exact same day and location. You can imagine what a surprise that was to both of us. We had a blast and everyone else did too!! Karol made a movie of my life that was showing all night on the big screen. People enjoyed hanging out, chatting, eating, and talking about how we were both duped by the other. Lori was the common connection and she pulled off the surprise for both of us. Lord knows how she did it with both of us talking to her about the other one and trying to help her out without the other one knowing. But she did it and she did a fantastic job. The night was enjoyed by everyone and it was a beautiful night for a party and bonfire. Lori you are the best.
Since the party we have been trying to get everything done around the house and get the motorhome loaded. We are getting there and plan on heading down the road on Oct. 28th or 29th depending on the weather. Sound like things are going to change for the worse next week so trying to get most things done this week. We got the motorcycle loaded into the trailer and have been going thru the motorhome and getting things cleaned out. When you think you have it all, then here comes Karol with more stuff and it has just been a vicious cycle trying to remember everything. So we will give you an update once we get all packed and headed down the road.....
